The project was born from an idea of photographing two sisters from Croatia who both live outside of their home country and work in the same place in Luxembourg. However, I chose to bypass direct presentation thorough portraiture, and focused on photographing significant objects and locations of the two sisters. Through the images of objects and locations emerges a picture of the people they represent. This project is conceived as a photo-book that will itself become a personal object, an addition to the objects presented in the project, and a final element of the concept dealing with revealing family relations, memories and identity.
